September Special !!

GRAPETREADING EVENING AT MASEROF

 DON'T MISS THIS UNIQUE EVENT...

FRIDAY 10TH SEPTEMBER 7.30PM

22 EUROS PER PERSON.

If you haven't been before you may wish to start the evening with a tour of the ancient farm buildings and organic wine processing equipment.

This is followed by an early evening glass ( or three) of their organic wine in the old imposing dining hall.
Around 9pm the grapetreading starts. This is ENTIRELY VOLUNTARY.
You do not have to take part if you don't want to.
HOWEVER, it is GREAT FUN and once you have started it is hard to leave any grapes unsquashed!
Afterwards, we  partake of our well-earned meal..
Salad, Roasted meat (lamb or pork) with vegetables and potatoes.
Vegetable lasagne is also available for those who would prefer it but

please let us know when you book.

Dessert and coffee.

During the whole evening the Maserof organic red wine is freely available and water is on hand for the drivers.
Towards the end of the event there is impromptu singing of well -known songs sometimes accompanied by guitar music. Great camaraderie!
It is a very informal evening in a fascinating building.
Please note that if you intend to tread the grapes it is a good idea to wear old /dark trousers or cut offs. The grapes will possibly stain white clothing.
There is no electricity so lighting is by candles.. very atmospheric... but good idea to bring a torch to get to and from car park.
The floors are very ancient and sometimes uneven so sensible footwear is advised. ( No Jimmy Choos please!)
SPACE IS LIMITED so if you wish to attend please call us NOW!
