Peter Ellis
I was born in Watford, Hertfordshire, I have lived in north Essex, and also near Bath in the west country.
My first career was with the Building Research Establishment, I then spent 7 years designing roads for Essex County Council and then jacked it all in ( as I was bored to tears in the design office ) to become a Motorcycle Instructor, firstly for what became a national company and then ran my own motorcycle training business along with Sally Ellis for 20 or so years before retiring to the glorious Marina Alta.
I still ride a motorcycle here in Spain, enjoying the amazing mountain roads and hoping to get some longer trips in post covid.
I have always been curious about the world, and I have a lifelong interest in Technology, Computers and Science so for me being the Newsletter Editor is a very good fit !
I don't in any way regard the Newsletter as mine, and I am more than happy for others to use it as a platform to promote U3A events, charities in the Vall del Pop, and things of general interest to members of the U3A.
