We have now started Keep Fit classes with a focus on exercises beneficial to our age range and open to both men and women.
The following information is intended to give you an insight into where, when and what will happen to help you decide if a class is for you!
Cost and What You Need
COST PER SESSION Euros 4 per person
You would need comfortable suitable footwear i.e. trainers or something similar, a towel and, most importantly, a bottle of water.
Jacintha, The Keep Fit teacher, will give you a form to fill in before you join the class in order to know more about any medical issues eg Back, Hips and Knees.
What to expect
As you grow older, an active lifestyle becomes more important than ever to your health.
Regular exercise is good for your mind, mood and memory.
The exercises in the Keep Fit class will improve your strength, flexibility and posture, which in turn help with balance, coordination and reducing the risk of falls.
The class starts with a warming-up, followed by a mixture of low impact cardio and standing exercises. In the second part of the class we will do energetic chair exercises. After a complete body toning we will relax down. You can do all the exercises at your own pace. The music of the sixties, seventies, eighties and your favourite hits of today, will lift you up. This class is leaving you tension free and rejuvenated. General fitness level. 4€ a class. Fruit treat every class!
