Skittles and Jungle roulette were our contribution to the Jalon Valley Help Spring Fayre, last Sunday. The day couldn't have been better with blue skies and slightly cool breeze.
Weeks before the event, one of our members worked hard to produce for us the roulette wheel, while others painted, printed and laminated photos. On the day we had a colourful , attractive stall encouraging people to win bottles of wine and sweets for the children. The jungle theme created a colourful and entertaining atmosphere, and many members got into the spirit with their colourful costumes. Some certainly needed a second look.
The skittle alley manned by Stewart Beattie, was busy throughout the morning offering a prize of a meal for two at El Cid restaurant and a lovely bottle of cava.
Thanks to all the members who manned the stalls, managing to raise 110€.
