Register On The Padron
A plea from Parcent's deputy mayor to ALL EXPATS to ensure that they are registered on the padron of their local Town Hall and that they have also applied for voting rights.
If you have voted in previous local elections that should be an automatic update, but these current times, with Brexit, have made that right uncertain.
More importantly if you are about to register on the Padron for the first time, do ensure that you get the paperwork that puts you on the voting list.
Whether that right will be honoured post Brexit or not, is still uncertain.
But make sure you are on the padron and the voting list, otherwise you will forfeit such rights anyway.
