Ladies At Lunch

The Ladies at Lunch group kick started the New Year off with a visit to the El Quijote restaurant in Orba, on Tuesday, 18th January 2022.

We had three tables set out for the 24 of us, and the staff were ready to take our drinks orders. It was a sunny but chill day and it was a pleasure to enter the dining room to a blazing fire. It all added to a cosy ambiance. El Quijote provided hot tapas and bread and aioli, followed by our personal pre-ordered choice of starters, main courses, and sweets. There was half a bottle of wine, soft drink or a beer, and coffees and teas to finish. I had the pate mini toasts and salad dressing to start, roast beef , vegetables and roast potato wedges and melon to finish. Various fish and meat dishes were also on offer. All great value for money.

As the wine flowed the sound of conversation and laughter grew, the restaurant was full so hope we didn't disturb other diners too much.

Our February venture is yet to be arranged, but will be on Tuesday, 15th February. All the details will be on the website in due course.
