Ladies At Lunch
On Tuesday, 15th November saw 32 ladies of the Vall del Pop U3A make a welcome return visit to the Don Quixote Restaurante in Orba. The restaurant soon filled up with our group and another party of 20.
We had all pre-ordered our meals from a selection of starters, jamon and melon, salad, pate, and soup, main courses chicken, pork and fish and sweets of cheesecake and various ice creams, with our meal including a half bottle of wine each – so we were soon relaxed and busy exchanging news and plans. The staff were very attentive and worked hard to make us welcome and comfortable – at which they certainly succeeded.
Having enjoyed a relaxing catchup with each others news we headed home replete in time for our siesta.
