Ladies Take Lunch at The Paraisio
With all the seasonal festivities of last year now completed, the U3A Vall Del Pop Ladies resumed their monthly lunch dates on Thursday 19th January. A bit of a change this month as we temporarily changed to a Thursday rather than the third Tuesday of the month.
This by no means deterred any one, 35 ladies arrived at the The Paraisio Restaurant in Parcent, for 1pm.
A separate room was already prepared for us and once we had all greeted each other we settled in to our seats. The staff were soon providing us with our chosen wine and soft drinks, included with the meal as well water.
Bread and tomato and Alioli, a delicious Goats cheese and bacon salad, Paraisio meatballs, and homemade Croquettes were all shared starters. We all had pre-ordered our main courses a varied selection of Lamb, Sole, Cod, Pork Cheek in Boletus sauce, Wild Boar Ragout or Slow Cooked Ribs all beautifully cooked. Completed with a wide selection of desserts.
We all had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon with excellent food, great conversation and brilliant company.
