This group has gone from strength to strength under the careful tutelage of Peter Tomlin. He decided that in 2019, he would step down as leader, but continue as part of the group for our many Field Trips, and the group are very grateful for all the advice and encouragement he has given to us.

Tuesday 20th November was a special night for the U3A Vall del Pop Singers when they organised a concert of popular songs from the shows including Oliver, Joseph and Sweet Charity. The evening got off to a great start with Cava and Buck Fizz. Philip Ashley the Musical Director added to the evening with a solo performance of a tune from Aspects of Love and a Neil Diamond tune “Beautiful Noise”.
The Word Buffs got together for an absolutely spiffing British Cream Tea at the Cappuccino Bar in Orba this week, where they meet every Thursday morning to play word games, or to review the Book of the Month.
